Group Classes

5 week wheel throwing course
June 5th  - June 26th 2024
** make up class possible due to July 4th holiday 
Wednesdays 9:30 AM - Noon
$275 includes all materials
** PLUS 6 hours of free studio practice time ** 

Welcome!  This introductory to wheel throwing class is intended for beginners, or anyone looking to build on their experience, but no experience is required.

In this relaxed step by step approach you'll learn how to work with clay on the wheel. The first class will focus on centering and throwing a basic form. Other classes will include trimming and decorating. As your pieces dry they will be bisque fired. The final classes usually focuses on glazing and handbuilding. 

The class meets Wednesdays 5 weeks, 9:30 am - 12
6 hours of open studio time is available for practicing. 
Clay and tools are provided. We have aprons but suggest you bring your own.
The cost to fire several coffee cup size work is included, additional/larger pieces will be charged a firing fee. 

$100 deposit required to hold a spot 
classes sell out and are limited to 8 people

Private Classes 

Private classes are an easy way to quickly immerse yourself  in working with all aspects of clay. Our classes include a demonstration and a lot of individual attention, either on the wheel throwing or hand building. The classes are 1 1/2 hrs and include all materials. For additional fee, you can choose a glaze and will fire finished work to be picked up 4-5 weeks after. 1 person $75 / 2 people $125 


Parties and Events

For groups of 3-8 people. Guests learn to handbuild, while taking turns learning the basics of wheel throwing (centering, opening, pulling).  For additional fee, you can choose a glaze and we will fire finished work to be picked up 4-5 weeks after.
